From the «dragon hole» to the sunset aperitif
Tour description
This year, wanderidee.ch is once again participating in the Swiss Hiking Night with an exciting announcement: We will hike from a legendary «dragon hole» to the sunset aperitif on the Hörnli and enjoy this moment on the summit. Right at the beginning, the route leads us to an impressive cave, where we learn eerily beautiful things about culture and history. Definitely a place you have to have visited.
On the ascent in the mild evening sun, we experience entertaining hiking pleasure, because we also take an unfamiliar path to the summit. Finally, at sunset at 9:26 p.m., Zurich's most famous panoramic mountain shines in a special mood and far below, with good visibility, we can see the lights of the agglomeration as far as Lake Zurich. After a cozy surprise aperitif, the hiking night guests take the descent under their feet in the (full) moonlight and hike down to the Tösstal (Steg train station), so that everyone gets home well "timed" with their last connections.

Abschluss
ca. 23.15 Uhr, Bahnhof Steg im Tösstal ZH – Zuganschlüsse via Bauma nach Winterthur/Zürich um 23.22 Uhr und in die Gegenrichtung nach Rüti um 23.28.
