Versatility is my trump card: hiking should be perceived as a holistic experience. Special vantage points, artistic insights, gastronomic surprises or musical interludes - many things can be combined with creative ideas along the way. Themed hikes and cultural experiences are in tune with the times, and I have always come up with special one-day and multi-day tours that will be remembered for a long time. The enjoyment factor is given high priority, but it can also be sporty: The main thing is variety.

Canton Schwyz I Hiking leader Swiss Hiking trails | Hiking trails GR I Bivouac I Adult sports CH (esa)

Regular hiking and mountain tours are an excellent endurance training and strengthen our level of fitness and our immune system. Being active in nature changes the perspective and slows us down. We sleep better, are less ill and feel more powerful in everyday life and at work. Also, if we move in company, we may have good conversations and can often even learn something new from each other. As much as I love being alone in the mountains, I do enjoy passing on my expertise to my guests. On every tour it is very important to me to take into account condition, age and experience level of my guests, to create a beautiful experience for everyone and to be considerate to nature.

Bülach | Born 1968 | Hiking Leader Swiss Hiking Trails with Bivouac & Adult Sports Switzerland, esa

Why am I a hiking leader «Swiss Hiking Trails with Bivouac and Adult Sports Switzerland»? As a nature & animal lover and movement person, the case is clear. I prefer to be outdoors on foot and at any time of the year. Again and again I pack my backpack for short or long hikes together with my dog. Hiking means for me: to switch off from hectic, to find peace again and again, to observe the beauties of nature and wildlife and to simply be in the here and now. I look forward, step by step with you and in the group on interesting, varied, culturally and scenically exciting hikes in the hilly Appenzellerland and through the beautiful Switzerland.

Hiking, with or without snowshoes, means for me leisure time, gives me the feeling of freedom, fills me with strength for the daily routine, and makes me happy. With every step, the nature shows me its little and bigger miracles. Take in the many-facet atmosphere with all your senses - the original scenery will fascinate and amaze you! Hittnau | Born 1957 | BAW Wanderleiter | Typesetters / Typographers, Realisation / Production Manager in Advertising Agencies.

I was infected with mountain fever when I joined the youth branch of the Swiss Alpine Club. As a child I loved being the mountains with my friends as often as I could, be it climbing, skiing or mountaineering. Later on, I inspired my partner and my daughters to go hiking, trekking and snowshoeing. My passion for these activities and my fascination for our great Nature are still with me today. So I like nothing better than to pull on my hiking boots and get outside, face the challenges, feel the wind and the weather in all its forms, sharpen my senses and discover a host of treasures along the way
