2 DAYS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ALPSTEIN
Tour description
Day 1: From Hoher Kasten on the ridge trail we hike through two gaps of imposing limestone rocks with the goal high on the Alp Sigel. We will have dinner in the beautiful village of Appenzell and spend the night in one of the old lovingly renovated idyllic rooms of a 350-year-old Appenzell farmhouse.
Day 2: On the second day we will hike from Ebenalp over the Schäfler, with great views of the whole Alpstein, via the steep Ageteplatte to the lower lying fantastic Meglisalp, further after the descent to the Seealpsee, before we will reach the destination Wasserauen of our two-day hike.
